Description
The shrine, located 20 meters southwest of Awbridge Danes House, dates from the early 19th century. It features a central section made of stone, while the rest is constructed from stuccoed brick. The central part has a slightly concave wall that steps up in the middle. This section includes a moulded stone arch with a large single stone keyblock, which is carved with the bust of a man and scrolled initials above, beneath a crown. In front of the shrine, there is a stone bench. The flanking walls are angled forward and made of rendered brick, with steps in front. Additionally, there is a rockery in front of the shrine.
