Description

This stable, located 20 meters north-east of Ibthorpe Manor Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century with some late 19th-century features. The walls are made of narrow horizontal flint panels, accented with brick quoins and cambered arches. It has a half-hipped thatched roof, with the exposed frame visible in the gable, while the lower western part of the roof ends in a hip. The building is rectangular with solid walls and includes a narrower extension to the west. The design features a symmetrical arrangement with a central door flanked by openings on each side, and the doorway is plain. The extension has boarded walls.
