Description
The Northcliffe School forecourt screen, located 60 meters south of Grove Place House, was built in 1900. This structure serves as a screen between the approach avenue and the surrounding area of the house. On either side of the driveway, there are six slender stone piers that are connected by wrought-iron rails. Each pier features paneling with floral decoration, along with a moulded cap and base, and a floral motif at the top. The outer piers are adorned with carved figures at their summits. The ironwork displays a simple pattern of horizontal and vertical elements, with a curved top for each bay. This screen is included for its group value.
