Description

Emperor House, formerly known as Ye Olde Farm, now comprises four separate units. The building dates to the 17th century and has been altered subsequently. The south-facing section is a two-storeyed timber-framed house, with two windows set within square framing and incorporating corner struts, as well as a central front door. The central unit is taller, featuring a slightly projecting section constructed with closely framed timber and a seven-light ground floor window. A single-storeyed brick building extends to the north, characterized by a large roof. Casement windows with diamond-leaded lights are visible throughout. The roof is covered in red tiles, with a hip over the central projection. Tiled roofs also cover open porches supported by posts. The rear elevation presents a modern appearance, featuring a white-painted rendered wall and casement windows.
