Description

Hart House is an early 18th-century inn that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries and is now a house. The front is of dressed squared stone, with rubble walls to the sides, and a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high and five bays wide. A 20th-century door is located on the left-hand side of the central bay, and the other bays have headed casements. On the first floor, there are 19th-century windows, including 2-, 3- and 4-light casements. Original 18th-century stone stacks are at the ends of the building, and a brick stack is positioned on the ridge above the door.
