Description

These are two early 19th-century buildings on the west side of Southampton Road. They are stuccoed with a decorative cornice and parapet. Each building is two storeys high and has one window on each floor. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and have bracketed labels above the ground-floor windows. The doorways are recessed and have rounded arches within moulded architraves. Numbers 81 and 83 contribute to a group of buildings of local interest with numbers 85 to 89 on the same side of the road.
