Description

Clements Cottage and Hawthorn Cottage are two cottages dating from the 16th century, with some features added in the 19th century. The cottages have an exposed timber frame, part of which was raised later, and brick infill. The south side walls are made of brickwork in Flemish bond and feature a cambered window opening. They have a thatched roof that is hipped at the south end and half-hipped at the north end, with a shaped stack. The buildings are one and two storeys high, with a total of 2.2 windows. The windows are metal casements, and there is a boarded door set in a solid frame. The north end includes a 20th-century outshot.
