Description

This is an 18th-century building on the north side of High Street. It has a stuccoed facade with a decorative band below the parapet. Pilasters frame the front of the building, and it extends to two storeys with an attic, featuring five windows and two dormers. The windows are unbarred sashes with moulded, flush frames; some are modern replacements, and there are reproduction bow windows. A pedimented door, also from the 18th century, is located on the eastern side. Nos. 70 to 75 High Street form a cohesive group.
