Description

This listing describes the steps and handrails at number 73 High Street. Dating to the early 19th century, the building is a tall house with a curved facade built of white brick, featuring a corbelled cornice and a band below the blocking course. The roof is not visible. The house has four storeys and a cellar, with three windows per floor, each containing sash windows with glazing bars. A plain iron balcony is located on the first floor. Two round-arched doorways are present, one incorporating a semi-circular fanlight. Three plate glass shop windows are situated between the doorways.
