Description

This footbridge, dating from the early 19th century, connects an island in the lake at Leigh Park to the mainland. It features a simple design with three elliptical arches, the central arch being larger than the others. The bridge has a convex low parapet that rises about 6 inches above the footway. The brickwork is laid in English bond. The original rustic wooden side rails have been removed.
