Description

This is a late 18th-century house on Queen Street in Emsworth. It is a two-window, two-storey house with an attic and basement. The house is constructed of red brick laid in Flemish bond, with a tile roof and brick dentil eaves. The windows are sash windows in exposed frames. A dormer window is located in the roof, featuring a cambered leaded top. The front door is within a doorcase featuring reeded pilasters and a shallow pediment, sheltering an arched opening with a Gothic fanlight above a six-panelled door which is approached by five stone steps.
