Description

Sprat's Hatch Bridge, built in 1792, is a red brick structure featuring a cambered arch that spans the canal and towpath. The bridge's plan widens on a curve from the center and includes splayed straight cutwaters. It has a parapet with a projecting band that ends in square piers topped with stone caps. An oval metal plaque on the bridge indicates that it was built in 1972 and restored in 1975 by Hampshire County Council.
