C17, C18. A large timber-framed structure, now subdivided with a C18 south extension at the east end (fronting to King Street as Forge House). 2 storeys, irregular fenestration. Red tile roofing, 2 gabled dormers (with leaded lights) to Cameo Cottage. The frame is exposed along the north side and as a gable on the corner (facing King Street). Infill and other walling is painted brickwork with some cambered openings and the marks of filled doorways. Casements. One panelled (Forge Cottage) one boarded (Cameo) door. Forge House has a 2-window (east) front, painted brickwork, casements and a plain door.
