Description

The Cottage in the Bury, also known as The Haven, is a building dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It has two storeys and features six upper windows. The roof is covered with red tiles and has a catslide at the rear. At the back, there are large stacks that are set against a timber frame, which is still visible inside the building. The walls are made of painted brick with a plinth. The first floor has two-light casements, while the ground floor windows are modern casements. There is a canopy supported by brackets over the doorway of the first floor, and a plain door leads to the second floor.
