Description

The Ford is an early 19th-century building. The east front is symmetrical, with three windows over two storeys. It features a red tile roof with brick dentil eaves and red brick walling in a Flemish bond pattern. The windows are casements, some with old leaded lights. Ground floor bays have tile roofs. A solid doorframe supports a moulded canopy held up by carved brackets, and contains a six-panelled door with an upper glazed section. A stable block is also present, constructed with a red tile roof and red brick walling.
