Description

Parkside is an 18th-century building located on the west side of Basingstoke Road in Heckfield. It features a symmetrical front with two storeys and an attic, comprising five windows. The roof is covered with red tiles and includes three small, high dormers that have rendered gables and old leaded casements. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with some blue headers, and has a projecting band on the first floor and a plinth. Between the upper windows, there are decorative patterns made of flush blue headers, including lozenge and diagonal cross designs. The windows are Victorian sashes, and there is a timber-clad gabled porch at the entrance.
