Description

Bury Cottage, located on Bury Road, is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall. It features grey headers with red quoins and red offset eaves, topped by a hipped old tile roof with flanking chimneys. On the first floor, there are two four-pane windows with a central three-pane window. The ground floor has one window to the east, a central six-panelled door, and a large angular bay to the west, with each light in the bay being four panes wide. All windows have architrave frames, and the eastern window is fitted with shutters. The central door is adorned with cut scroll brackets that support a flat moulded cornice hood, with a dentilled bed mould running around the brackets.
