Description

This is a mid-19th century villa, built in a late Regency style. It is a symmetrical stucco building of two storeys and a basement, with five windows on the first floor and two bays and a central doorway on the ground floor. The roof is slate, with wide eaves. The front elevation features end pilasters and plain architraves to the first-floor windows. A continuous band runs along the first floor, and the ground floor has a rusticated plinth. An entablature connects the bays to the central doorway, which is flanked by coupled pilasters. A plinth-level podium supports a staircase, and urns are positioned on either side. There are panels below the bay windows and the first-floor centre window. Good iron railings define the side boundaries.
