Description

Odd Corner, dating from around 1830, is a Grecian-style lodge originally built as a pumphouse for the proposed spa at Anglesea. The building appears as a single storey, but is in fact two-storied. The facade features an elaborate recessed entrance flanked by Doric fluted columns supporting a thin cornice, with stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. The St Marks Road facade is bow-shaped, featuring a French window between two sash windows in reveals. The design is distinguished by its fine detailing and is constructed in stucco.
