Description

Nos 8 to 14 on Ferrol Road are a mid-19th century terrace of cottages that were originally built for boatbuilders. These two-storey homes feature painted weatherboarding and each has a gabled slate roof adorned with carved bargeboards. Most cottages have one window, primarily consisting of divided casements. They also include simple penticed porches, except for No 14, which does not have one. The doors are four-panelled.
