Description

This is an 18th-century block of cottages located on Church Street in Titchfield. Number 14 is set back from the main frontage. The facade is stuccoed with a grooved design intended to resemble masonry, and it has an old tiled roof, now replaced with modern tiles, which is half-hipped at the east end. The cottages are two storeys high with three windows in total. Most windows are sash windows with glazing bars. Each doorway has a flat hood above it. The doors are modern, with the exception of a six-panel door at Number 14, the top two panels of which are now glazed. Numbers 1 to 11 (odd), 2 and 4, 10 to 14 (even) form a group with the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, along with monuments, table tombs and walls in the adjacent Old Churchyard. Nos 1 and 3 are identified as buildings of local interest.
