Description

Nos 131 and 133 on Castle Street are 18th-century buildings featuring a rendered facade with brick eaves and an old tiled hipped roof. They are two storeys tall and have three windows; the first floor displays early 19th-century casements with cambered head linings, while the ground floor has small sashes with similar heads. The central entrance is a round-arched door with a plain fanlight. No 131 includes a Gothick arched side door in a recessed one-storey section. These buildings, along with Nos 129 to 135 (odd), form a group with No 140, known as Walnut Cottage.
