C18 square building with stuccoed facade and hipped slate roof. 2 storeys. 5 windows facing west, sashes with glazing bars. Solid porch with twin Doric columns. 5 windows face south and this elevation has an early C19 colonnaded verandah on the ground floor with a storey added over it. Victorian additions behind. West Hill Park School and The Lodge form a group (the Lodge is a building of local interest).
