Description
Boundary Oak School, located at Roche Court, has a stone walled medieval core that is concealed by 16th and 17th century work, along with 18th century and early 20th century additions. The 17th century house is visible on the north and south facades. It features two center gables that are timber framed above the ground floor on the northern facade. The building is two and a half storeys tall, with gables that jet out, adorned with a moulded bressumer and bargeboards above coving. The overall roof is hipped and tiled.
The southern facade has two tile-hung gables and is two storeys high, with similar windows, although the eastern first-floor window is the oldest. To the east, there is a three-storey tile-hung section with three hipped gables above. This section has two windows on the ground and first floors, and three windows on the second floor. Adjacent to this is a red brick, two-storey wing with three windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all of which are reproduction casements. The main front of the building, which faces west, has seven windows and is of 19th century date, constructed from red brick with imitation timber framing.
