Description
This is a dovecote located 5 metres east of Truncheaunts, dating from the early 19th century. The walls are made of malmatone ashlar, featuring brick quoins and a plinth. On three sides, there are two bands of rat-trap bond, which are visible on the inside at the pigeon holes on the upper level (11 pigeon holes arranged in 3 rows) and in the arched recesses on the lower level (6 recesses). The dovecote has a hipped tile roof and is a tall structure with an almost square plan. The north elevation includes both an upper and a lower arched doorway.
