Description
Kiln House is a 19th-century building that has been altered. It stands two storeys tall and is five bays wide, with the outer two bays featuring lean-to roofs. The structure is made of coursed stone that has been painted white, topped with a slate roof that includes two centrally-placed pyramidal kiln heads. The ground floor features an open arcade supported by square piers, which carry depressed arches adorned with bold keystones. The outer two arches have been blocked and now contain metal casements. There is a band at the first floor level, which has three modern casement windows. On the right side of the building, there is a 19th-century five-bay cast iron veranda that serves as a covered way to the main entrance.
