Description

Bramshott Meadows is a house with a complex history, dating back to the 15th century, with significant alterations in the 16th, 19th, and 20th centuries. The walls are constructed of roughly-coursed sandstone with galletting, brick quoins, and cambered arches. Some old timber framework is visible in the upper parts of the rear wall, while a 20th-century wing features a brick-nogged frame above red brick walls. The roof is tiled, with one gable and another to the wing.

Originally a medieval timber-framed hall of four bays, originally two-storied at each end, it includes a 16th-century fireplace and inserted floor in the central hall. The walls were largely reclad in the early 19th century. The house has two storeys and an irregular pattern of windows. The windows are 20th-century oak casements with leaded lights, and there is a 20th-century traditional front door.
