Description
The Millers House is an 18th century house that has undergone 20th century restoration and extensions. It is constructed of stone and tile. The east elevation is symmetrical, featuring two storeys and an attic with three windows. The roof is hipped on the north side and includes one gabled dormer, along with brick dentil eaves. The walls are made of malmstone rubble with brick dressings, a first-floor band, and a plinth. The windows are sashes in exposed frames. The north elevation consists of a continuous range from two phases, also two storeys and an attic, with two to three windows; it has similar features, including sashes above wide French windows and a stone porch. There are irregular ranges of buildings extending southwards, characterized by prominent tile roofs and stone walls. A single-storey 20th century unit to the east of the former front, along with a boundary wall, obscures the east side.
