Description

Little Barlands is a cottage dating from the early 18th century. It features timber-framed walls and a thatched roof. The building is one storey high with an attic and has two dormers above three windows. The hipped roof has low eaves above outshots at each end and includes eyebrow dormers, along with a shafted stack. The exposed frame has painted brick infill, with most of the top panels plastered, and there is vertical boarding on the outshot at the rear. The windows are small casements, and there is a boarded door topped with a thatched canopy supported by posts.
