Description

These are two mid-19th century buildings on Market Street, forming part of a larger group with numbers 23, 25, 25A, 27, the King's Head Public House, and number 29. The buildings are two storeys high and three bays wide, with the bay on the left set back slightly. They are stuccoed and have a tile roof. The ground floor has a central doorway with pilasters and an entablature, flanked by matching contemporary shop fronts, all decorated with pilasters and entablatures. The first floor features two recessed sash windows. The recessed bay to the left has a further contemporary shop front with pilasters and entablature, and a single recessed sash window on the first floor.
