Description

The buildings at 54 and 56 High Street date from the early 19th century. They are two storeys high and constructed of brick. The ground floor now has modern shop fronts. A moulded wooden cornice runs along the eaves. Number 54 is two bays wide, with two recessed sash windows on the first floor, featuring glazing bars. Number 56 is three bays wide and includes a canted bay window, a blank window, and a recessed sash window with glazing bars on the first floor.
