Description

Number 20 Newbury Street is a building that dates from the 17th and 18th centuries, with some modern alterations. It has one storey and an attic, featuring irregularly spaced windows. The roof is tiled and half-hipped at the exposed north end, with one gabled dormer positioned at eaves level. The north side of the building shows an exposed brick-nogged timber frame, while the south side is finished with painted brickwork. The windows are casements, and there is a plain door.
