Description

Barn Close House is a two-storey building dating from the 18th century, with early 19th and 20th-century alterations. It features a tiled roof with tapered end stacks and roughcast walling. The façade includes end pilasters, a slightly-recessed centre, a plinth, and cambered openings. The windows are casements with pointed coupled lights set within rectangular frames. There is a modern gabled porch that matches the style of the house, enclosing a plain doorway. Inside, the house retains old timber framing.
