Description

Ballhill Farmhouse is a 17th and 18th century timber-framed house that has later been clad in brick. It is one storey high with an attic and features a tile roof that is half-hipped at the north end. The house has three gabled dormers with cills positioned at eaves level. While the walls are primarily painted brickwork, the upper part of the north gable reveals the original exposed framing. The windows are modern casements, and the entrance is set within a large modern square bay that has a flat roof. There is also a modern extension at the south end that matches the style of the original building.
