Description
Dower House is a late 18th-century building featuring a symmetrical wide front on the east side, consisting of two storeys and three windows. It has a hipped tile roof with brick dentil eaves. The walls are constructed of brindle header bricks, accented with red brick flush features, including quoins that extend vertically alongside the openings, a band at the first floor, diamond panels between the openings, cambered openings on the ground floor, and a plinth. The windows are leaded casements. The entrance includes a six-panelled door, with four top panels glazed, set within a solid frame and an open Victorian porch. The porch has a gabled tile roof, with scalloped tiles hung within the gable, and is supported by a timber frame on a low brick wall. The south wall is built in Flemish bond, featuring blue headers.
