Description
Hatch House Farm House is a house dating from the 17th century, with additions and alterations from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick in English bond, featuring tile-hung gables and tiled roofs. The house has a lobby entry plan on the southeast side, with an 18th-century extension to the northwest. The structure has two gables flanking a central chimney on the northeast side, and one gable at the junction between the two sections on the southwest. The 17th-century part is one and a half storeys tall, while the 18th-century addition is two storeys.
On the northeast elevation, the 17th-century section on the left includes a central gabled porch with irregularly spaced casement windows. There is one 20th-century casement window to the left, a three-light casement window to the right with a partly cambered head, and a two-light casement window in the left gable. The right gable has two two-light casement windows, and there is a three-light casement window at the junction of the two builds. To the right, the 18th-century addition features cambered-headed casement windows, with two two-light windows on the first floor and two three-light windows on the ground floor.
