Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a 17th and 18th century timber-framed house with modern extensions. It has one storey and an attic, featuring irregular window placements. The roof is half-hipped thatch with a gable at the front (south). The frame is exposed at the rear and part of the front, with brick and plaster infilling, while the other walls are made of brickwork in a mixed bond. The front gable is boarded. The windows are casements, and there is a modern brick and tile porch. Access to the garden forecourt is through a small archway in a large clipped yew tree.
