Description
Beaurepaire House is an early 19th-century building with modern additions, situated within a rectangular medieval moat. It features a substantial 'Tudor' style design, which is part of a once larger house that was mostly destroyed by fire. The east front has three storeys and five windows, complemented by a modern tower on the west side. The building has a slate roof and red brick walls adorned with blue diaper patterns and stone dressings, including coping to a crenellated parapet, a weathered string at eaves level, and hood-moulds. The windows are fitted with metal casements, and the modern tower echoes the original style. At the rear, there are lower buildings that are screened by an enclosing wall topped with crenellations.
