Description

Parkgate Farmhouse is a two-storey T-shaped house that dates from the 16th, 17th, and 19th centuries, with later extensions. It features a tiled roof, a large tapered chimney on the west side, and three additional later chimneys. The house has an exposed timber frame with brick infill, including some herring-bone patterns, and other walling from the later block. It has casement windows and three mid-19th century bays supported by brackets, each with tiled canopies. There are plain doorways located within the outshots.
