Description

Abbots Dwell is a 17th-century building. It is a one-storey and attic structure with an irregular arrangement of windows. The roof is thatched, with a hipped section at the north end, a half-hipped section at the south end, and extended eaves along the south elevation, creating eyebrow features. The building has an exposed timber frame with painted brick infill and other walling. It features casement windows, some with original glass. A modern thatched porch has been added.
