Description

This barn, located 20 yards southeast of Nuthanger Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It features a four-bay timber frame with an aisle on one side. The structure includes a queen post truss with two tiers of verticals and two collars. The roof is half-hipped and covered with corrugated iron. The walls are boarded and sit on a brick base. Additionally, there is a later aisle of three bays on the south side, which has a tiled roof.
