Description
Dummer Grange Flat, originally known as Dummer Grange Outbuildings, dates back to 1806 with early 20th-century alterations. It is a two-storey L-shaped building featuring a single-storey modern extension and an altered south facade. The structure has a large hipped tile roof, and its walls are made of flintwork with red brick banding and quoins. There is a projecting band at the first floor and cambered openings on the ground floor. The south face includes an arcade of three arches from the 20th century, complete with stone impost bands. The building has casement windows and two solid door frames. The modern cross-shaped single-storey extension is located on the north side. Originally serving as a stable and barn, it now functions as a dwelling, with a dated beam indicating its historical use.
