Description

Manor Farmhouse is a two-storeyed house dating from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. The western half of the house is the oldest section and has an exposed timber frame on its north face. The roof is tiled. The timber frame is partly filled with herringbone brickwork, while the remaining walls are of red brick in English and Flemish Garden Wall bonds. The ground-floor openings have cambered arches, and the oldest part of the house has a plinth. Most windows are casements, but two are early 19th-century sash windows, and one is a French window. The doors are plain. Outshots extend from each long side of the house, each with a low-pitched slate roof.
