Description
The Well House is a 17th-century building with 20th-century alterations. It is a one-storey and attic building with three windows on the upper level and five on the ground floor. It has a thatched roof, which is brought to a low eaves above an outshot on the east end, with eyebrow dormers above the windows, their sills level with the eaves. The north elevation features exposed timber framing, brick nogging, and weatherboarded walling to the outshot, with small casement windows. A modern brick porch with a gabled tile roof is also present. The south elevation is brick-faced with cambered openings to the ground floor.
