Description

Goose Green Cottage is a late-medieval, timber-framed house that dates from the 16th, 18th, and 20th centuries. It has three bays and features a fireplace with an inserted first floor in the central hall. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and has four windows on the ground floor. The roof is thatched, half-hipped, and includes three eyebrow dormers. The frame is exposed at the rear, on the east end, and in the upper part of the front, with painted brick infill and other walling. The windows are casements, and there is a plain doorway. A recent outshot has been added at the rear.
