Description

Ashmansworth House is a building dating from the 18th century, with elements from the early and late 19th century. The older section at the rear features a tile roof and a shafted stack, while the taller front section, which has been rendered in the later period, is two stories high with an attic and has a three-window facade. The roof is hipped and tiled, with three flat-roofed dormers. The walls are rendered and include eaves with cavetto moulding, thin architraves, cill brackets, and a plinth. The ground floor has sash windows with three lights set in reveals. There is a plain Tuscan porch at the entrance.
