Description

Coopers Farmhouse is a building dating from the 17th century, with early to mid-19th century additions. It is a small, T-shaped house that stands one storey high with an attic and features later extensions. The roof is tiled, and there are gabled dormers with cills positioned at the eaves level. The timber-frame is exposed on the east side of the north wall, with rendered and brick infilling, while the other walls are constructed of brick. The brickwork is in Flemish bond with blue headers, and the later part of the building uses Flemish Garden wall bond. The house has casement windows, including two sash windows in the western dormers. A small brick porch with a gable features an oval-arched entrance and a boarded door set in a solid frame.
