Description
The barn at Breach Farm, located approximately 35 metres west of the farmhouse, dates from the 15th century and early 19th century. It features a timber frame consisting of five bays set on a masonry base, with central entrances that project slightly on the east side. The barn is constructed using cruck techniques, with the blades tenoned into and supporting collars, along with arch braces. Inside, there are square purlins and arched wind braces. The roof is half-hipped at both ends and gabled above the entrance, with tiles on the east, north, and south sides, while the west side is slated. The walls are weather-boarded.
