Description

The Thatched Cottage is a 17th and 18th century building located in Sherfield on Loddon. It has one storey and an attic, featuring three upper windows. The cottage is topped with a thatched roof, which includes eyebrow dormers and a catslide at the rear. There are tapered stacks at each end of the roof. The exterior showcases an exposed timber frame with painted brick infill. The upper windows have old leaded lights and are fitted with casements, while the entrance features a boarded door set in a solid frame.
