Description

Four Winds and Wayback is a 17th-century long timber-framed house. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring five irregularly spaced windows. The house has a thatched roof that is hipped at each end, with a lower tiled roof on the outshot at the north end, which includes 'eyebrow' dormers. The exposed frame is complemented by painted brick infill and other walling, with a cement plinth at the base. The windows are casements, and there is a modern porch added to Wayback. Both parts of the house have been modernised.
